Mission Statement
Established in 1988, Colorado Romance Writers' mission statement is to promote excellence in romantic fiction, help writers become published and establish careers in their writing field, and provide continuing support for writers within the romance publishing industry.
The chapter meets monthly and provides innovative programs, networking opportunities with other romance writers and pertinent information from the National organization. CRW also holds regular workshops and sponsors a conference. CRW's Newsletter, Romance in the RockiesTM, is recognized for the quality of its content and frequently shares its material with other RWA® chapters. CRW has also built a reputation for its Romancing the Rockies ConferenceTM. The next conference is scheduled for May 2008. CRW also holds two annual contests: The Award of Excellence for published authors and the Heart of the RockiesTM for unpublished authors.
