Established in 1988, Colorado Romance Writers' mission is to promote excellence in romantic fiction and advance the professional interests of career-focused romance writers through networking and advocacy, dissemination of information, professional education, publications, and other appropriate activities, and to provide continuing support for writers within the romance publishing industry.
CRW meets the second Saturday of every month and provides innovative programs, networking opportunities with other romance writers and pertinent information from the National organization. CRW also holds regular workshops, sponsors a member list-serve, critique groups, published author roundtable, Book in a Week programs, and a biannual writers conference.

CRW has nearly 100 members, many of whom are published in romance and other genres.
CRW's Newsletter, Romance in the Rockies™, is recognized for the quality of its content and frequently shares its material with other RWA® chapters. Romance CONNECTIONS in the Rockies™ is CRW’s published author newsletter that is emailed to booksellers, libraries, industry professionals, readers and readers groups.
CRW has built a reputation for its biennial Romancing the Rockies Conference. The next conference will be held in 2011.
CRW also holds two annual contests: The Award of Excellence for published authors & the Heart of the Rockies for unpublished authors.
Guests are allowed one visit at no charge over and may receive a complimentary copy of the CRW Newsletter.
Dues: $25 per calendar year for renewing members and $30 for new members. You must be a member of Romance Writers of America® to join CRW. For more information on RWA, go to www.rwanational.org.
